Weekly brief

Welcome: Your First Weekly Brief

Every week you get one practical workflow you can try in under ten minutes. No news cycle, no predictions, no hype.

This week: the "smart colleague" prompt

The fastest way to get a useful answer from any AI tool is to tell it who is asking and what you need. Try this on something you are actually working on today.

I am [your role] with [X] years of experience. I need to [goal]. Act as a smart colleague from a different field who asks good questions.
Before answering, ask me up to 3 questions. Then give me your recommendation in 5 bullets, and tell me what you are least sure about.

Try it today

  1. Pick one real decision or task on your list.
  2. Paste the prompt above, fill in the brackets, and answer its questions.
  3. Notice which of its "least sure about" points you already know the answer to. That is where your experience beats the tool.

Why this works

You supply judgment and context; the tool supplies speed and structure. That division of labor is the whole game, and you already have the hard part.
